
The countdown has begun for the most anticipated and award winning peace pageant, Miss Ambassador For Peace pageant with 32 contestants representing the entire federation, while would be crowned zonal queens, the eventual winner will emerged the Miss Ambassador For Peace beauty Queen, 2013.
After the huge success that heralded the maiden edition which saw Beauty Istifanus emerging the MAFP 2012, there has been clamour for more participation from Nigerians and other nationals to participate in the campaign for peace.
The 2013 edition of the pageant has been promised by the organisers in a statement in Abuja recently that it holds more glitz and glamour as the camping opens 14 September while the grand finale comes up 21st september 2013.
In addition,they added that they are leaving no stone on turn to ensure a successful hosting of the second edition in September, 2013 in Abuja.
The statement further stressed that the uniqueness of this year’s edition is the distinguished personalities who have contributed immensely to the growth of the country that would be honoured and celebrated with the Peace Ambassador Agency Award.
The pageant which has been tagged by credible organisations around the globe as one of the most "conservative pageant, appropriate for the socio-cultural and religious upbringing of the youths of the country to uphold moral values and character reformation is the best way for young and talented Nigerians girls to show what they have gotten upstairs."
Though the Miss Ambassador For Peace pageant (MAFP)is primarily an advocacy programme which engage the Queen in different interest group, focussing on encouraging the youth to take more interest on the peace and development of the nation.
The gains from the event can never be over emphasised.
Furthermore, the queen would be deeply involved in advocacy for peaceful and conflict resolution which invariably would result to in peaceful co-existence.
"We have promised to present a world class event which will be awesome in our own way. Some of those to be awarded at the events are prominent entertainers among whom are Princess Uche Walter Elendu(Actress of the year),Charles Onoja(Actor of the year), Akinlumi Julius aka Elenu(Comedian of the year),Praise Adejo aka Praiz(RnB artiste of the year) and others," the CEO, Kingsly Amafibe added.
He further stressed that they are bringing more notable faces into the event to give it more boost, “the queen will be supported by her fellow zonal queens while embarking on her projects on promoting peace around the country. And the MCs of the day would be popular actress Empress Njamah and radio personality Big Mo on Wazobia FM."
