Rita Marley to grace Felabration

Rita Marley, wife of the late Reggae music icon, Bob Marley, will participate in the Felabration Festival, this year. The deal was signed and agreed upon, after she met with Ms. Yeni Kuti, founder of the Felabration and Mr. Theo Lawson, Chairman, Felabration Organising Committee, in Ghana, last week.

As such, Rita will be the Special Guest Speaker at the 2013 Felabration Symposium, with the theme: Movement of the People: The Fela-Bob Marley Perspective.

The Felabration theme this year is aimed at rekindling people-oriented messages which the late legends, Fela Anikulapo Kuti and Marley, imbibed during their lifetime. The festival, which kicks off with the symposium, will run through October 14 to October 20.
