Super Eagles striker Victor Anichebe has picked former Everton teammate Yakubu Aiyegbeni as his worst roommate as he recalls his favourite and worst pre-season memories in evertontv’s new feature Tour Tales, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
The Nigerian striker returned to English shores after the first-team’s week-long training camp in Austria a common destination for the squad at this time of the year and picked the club's tour of Italy as the best he has ever participated in since he became a regular U-18 academy player before graduating to the reserves. Anichebe who scored eight goals last season for the Toffees made a shocking declaration that Yakubu snores like an elephant.
"Yak is the worst without a doubt because he snores like an elephant." "I've never heard anyone snore like that in my whole life before and he's probably the worst," he told evertontv’s new feature Tour Tales.
Fondly called 'The Beast' by the Toffees admirers, he also picked the Nigerian duo of John Mikel Obi and Osaze Odemwingie as his best roommate ever.
"Obi Mikel and Osaze are probably my best roommates because they always lay back with their lap tops and enjoy themselves.”
"They like to chill a lot and they are good professionals," he concluded.
